OFM (OUT FRONT Magazine), established in 1976, is one of the nation’s oldest continuous-running, independently owned and operated LGBTQ publications. Since then, no other queer media has served the LGBTQ community as well, covering culture, entertainment, and news.
Recently, OMF highlighted 5 up and coming queer-fronted Denver bands, and we're so happy they chose to highlight us! YAN YEZ was named amongst other local talents like Dog Tags, May Be Fern, Mr. Knobs, and Soph and Austin.
A blurb below..
"This band is un-categorizable. Filled with punk, electric, hip-hop, rock, and pop influences, their sound reminds me of an evolved version of ’80’s pop music.
Self-described as Indie Post-Pop, Yan Yez is unexpected and incredibly refreshing in a world where all our pop music sounds incredibly similar. Their live performances are unbeatable and unpredictable, entertaining as much as they are serious commentaries on the political and economic states of our country."
